The Community Stewardship Council of Lanark County and the Centre for Sustainable Watersheds are putting on another BioBlitz August 13-14 on a 1000 acre private property near Pakenham. 

They are currently looking for experts, nature enthusiasts and volunteers.  For more details, please see the attached BioBlitz invitation.

Anyone interested in participating, even for just an hour or two, can contact Meaghan McDonald at the Lanark Stewardship Office (contact info below). 

As well, there will be two other BioBlitzes coming up (August 27-28 and September 10-11).  Both properties are near Charleston Lake (Singleton Lake and Red Horse Lake).
